India won the match by 8 runs..

The match was played in Vidarbha, Nagpur. Australia won the toss and elected to field first. The Indian openers didn't do so well as Rohit Sharma went back to the pavilion in the very first over scoring zero run. Then Shikhar Dhawan was the second victim who scored  21 runs off 29 balls. As their was downfall of the team with another wicket of Ambati Rayudu, India wanted a strong partnership, then the capitan Virat Kohli came on strike and handled the pressure situation extremely well with the all-rounder Vijay Shankar making a good partnership with him in which Virat Kohli scored his 40th century 116 runs off 120 balls and a defendable total was put on the score board of 250 runs.

The Australian's started it off extremely well as their was a good partnership between the openers Aaron Finch and Usman khawaja. But after the first wicket their was a sudden downfall of the team with no good partnership by the middle order batmen's all the credit goes to the Indian bowlers as all of them performed really well. The match turned out to the Indian side when the last over bowled by Vijay Shankar was the crucial over for the Australian's as the very first ball he took the wicket of the set batsmen Marcus stoinis and on the third ball he bowled out Adam Zampa and India won the match by 8 runs and leading the 5 ODI series by 2-0. It's team India's 500th ODI WIN.
