Corona virus cases in India are increasing continuously. The number of infected people in the country has reached close to 6000.

Till now 169 people have lost their lives. Lockdown has been imposed to prevent the further spread of the virus across the country, which is being considered to extend after April 15. Due to this lockdown, there are many such people who could not reach their home because of their jobs in other cities and got stuck where they were staying.

A similar case that took place in Telangana state where a mother drove her son back home from another state where he was residing, after driving 1400 km of scooty during the lockdown. Razia Begum, a 48-year-old resident of Bodha Town in Nizamabad district of Telangana, went 700 km to bring her son stranded in Rahmatabad in Nellore district of Andhra Pradesh and then brought her son back on scooty.

The Rashtra Samithi requested PM Narendra Modi to extend the lock down because there is no other effective way to stop spread the infection. In a video conferencing conversation with PM Modi the leaders of various political parties, the Telangana Rashtra Samithi's parliamentary party leader K.K. Keshav Rao and party leader in Lok Sabha Nama Nageswara Rao requested the Prime Minister to extend the lockdown. Keshav Rao also told Modi that the lockdown has created many difficulties but it has become inevitable to continue.
